Data Deletion Request
Last Updated: August 13, 2026
This page explains how to have your ChatFMD account and associated data deleted, and what happens to data received from connected social platforms such as LinkedIn.
1. Disconnect a social platform
Signed-in users can disconnect a connected LinkedIn Company Page at any time from the LinkedIn connection screen in ChatFMD. Disconnecting deletes the stored encrypted access and refresh tokens and stops ChatFMD from making further LinkedIn API requests on your behalf. You can also revoke ChatFMD's access from your LinkedIn account settings.
2. Request account and data deletion
Account deletion is handled as a manual request. Email privacy@chatfmd.com from the email address on the account and include:
- The account email address
- Your company or workspace name
- Whether you want the whole account deleted or only connected platform data
3. What gets deleted
A full account deletion removes your login record, your company profile (name, website, industry, size, country, onboarding state) and all social connection records, including encrypted platform tokens and any stored platform metadata.
4. Timing and exceptions
We aim to confirm and complete valid requests within 30 days. Limited information may be retained where necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, backup, or platform-compliance reasons, and residual copies may persist in encrypted backups until those backups expire.
5. More information
See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and how it is protected.
